In 2000, Dr. Martin Seligman of the University of Pennsylvania began a new paradigm in psychology. Instead of focusing on
what was wrong with people and using analysis to uncover years of "what might have made me miserable" he develped
positive psychology which teaches people how to change their lives quickly, dramatically and lastingly. He says, "this
includes the study of positive emotion, positive character traits, and positive institutions." Dr. Seligman is now
training Positive Psychologists, coaches and therapists to train clients to learn the techniques and skills that make a positive
lasting difference in people's lives.
Time magazine recently made The Science of Happiness their cover article, profiling Dr. Seligman and others working in
this field. The most dramatic changes happen when people learn to change their thoughts, find blessings in everyday life and
learn to become resilient to "the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune."
Wouldn't you like to learn what so many are finding out? Happiness is not only possible, but lasting happiness and optimism
is teachable.
The reward? You are healthier, live longer and enjoy every day. You learn to be in flow, problems shrink and interestingly,
people tend to earn more money when they are happier.
